Grand Opening - Quilchena Skate Park

The official opening of the Quilchena skateboard facility/Quilchena Park is on Saturday September 9 th. It has been open for a while now so I don't know why the grand opening is now? It looks like they will be having some sort of skate board demonstrations. Maybe some grub and a ribbon cutting. Should be fun. May develop into a skate sesh. Somthin' for the whole fam-dam-ily. 1st Skate Park ever (not the last) for the West Side. 5000 square feet of beginner- intermediate, ramps, rails, granite ledges, seat ledges and manual pads. Their were some problems with the design so it wont be a favorite. But it will be better than a kick in the arse.

Quilchena is located at 4590 Magnolia Street near 41st and Abutus. .
