Momentum Will Help You Clean That Dirty Steed

Bikes take a beating in the winter. That street dirt of all flavours that collects on your drivetrain, transmission, and rims makes shifting, stopping, and even pedalling less than perfect. But cleaning grease-clumped blobs of hair out of chains and cogs, no matter how satisfying the end result, just doesn't find itself on top of many to-do lists. That's why Momentum Magazine is offering moral support in the form of a group bike cleaning session today at Bikes on The Drive.

The time is from 7:00 until 9:30 pm and the place is Bikes on The Drive (1350 Commercial Drive). They're providing the supplies, so all you need to bring is a dirty bike. And hey, it looks like anyone who's really lazy will be able to just hold their bike on the sidewalk. The rain will at least take care of some of the dirt.
