I'd been to the River Rock Show Theatre before to see a poker tournament but somehow it looked smaller with the ring.

Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore (FNF hosts) were there and of course so was "Smoking Joe", who had a Boxing Day (no pun intended) sale like crowd lining up to get pictures with him afterward.

Only the first three bouts were part of ESPN's broadcast, but if you left after that you missed out.

Light Flyweights Hekkie Budler from South Africa and Mario Gaxiola from Vegas fought with kamikaze-like flurries and there was even a Tyson in the house, no it wasn't Mike so no children were eaten and no ears were bitten off.

Santa gave me a digital camera so I was able to take some cool action shots.
