Action Shots: Girls AAA 2008 Provincial Championship - Riverside vs. Elgin Park

AAAgirls9.jpgThe electricity in the air at the 2008 Provincial Girls AAA basketball championship game was probably more than local hoops fans experienced at Grizzlies games.

The Riverside Rapids took on the Elgin Park Orcas and it was fitting as they were seeded No. 1 and 2 respectively.

The fans were loud and rowdy all game long adding to the atmosphere and they were given an extra treat as the game went into OT.

Elgin Park emerged victorious in the extra stanza and as I left the game I experienced something I hadn't since my last rock concert; ringing ears.
