Coyotes vs. Canucks PPV: Local Blackout in Effect
After a tough day at the office, I was looking forward to the Phoenix Coyotes vs. Vancouver Canucks PPV game last night; the playoffs are near and the hockey can only get better.
Was it worth it to spend about $13.00 on a hockey game? Why the hell not?
The Canucks jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the first period with Henrik and Daniel Sedin actually chipping in on a goal to boot.
The Sedins were also a factor in another goal in the second period and Canucks were up 3-1; I was really content.
Then came the third and the troubles began.
The Canucks were on the power play and the puck went to the point and the screen went black. "Shit!"
The game came back on and the score remained 3-1, so no goal.
Then a little later the screen went black again and the game did not return.
Did I accidentally flick to Movie Central and were they showing the series finale of The Sopranos?
I tried to call Shaw Cable but the line was busy and when I did make it through, a voice message said they were experiencing a high volume of calls due to the Canucks game and that it would be better to call tomorrow.
Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts about Canucks PPV in general?

Me too, but not only that, my friend was watching this game in high definition on the new Telus HD. Apperantly Sportsnet has had the capability to broadcast in HD every home game all season long. I'm going to try and get my money back. But next season this PPV bullshit must be boycotted. SNETP sucks.
