Icons and You

The Vancouver User Experience Group (VanUE) is hosting a talk tomorrow called, "Enhancing the User Experience with Icons". The lecture, preceded by a half-hour networking event, will cover the design process behind icons as it relates to modern technology products.

This is a great opportunity for creatives and technologists of all stripes to leverage the power of the humble icon and make it more than just a signpost or pretty graphic. The speaker will be Mike Tam, a design consultant based in the San Francisco Bay Area who has worked with leading technology companies and startups, which include AOL, HP, IBM Rational Software, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Plantronics, Sony, and Yahoo.

You must RSVP for this event at : rsvp@vanue.com
