I heart Vancouver's Craigslist

Do you guys love craigslist as much as I do? I freakin' LOVE craigslist. I've got some sweet sweet deals off of this site, like a couple of years ago I bought a car for $150. It only lasted 4 months, but still, that's cheaper than a bus pass. Over the past few years I've bought a couch, a microwave, a laptop, an ipod, 2 cameras, and a rice cooker off craigslist. I actually don't even buy big items new anymore, because with enough trolling I can usually find something great for really cheap. Especially at the end of the month, when people are moving, or broke.
My latest triumph was scoring Shout Out Out Out Out tickets. But, of course there's much more to the story. I posted that I wanted Shout Out Out Out Out tickets at cost (cuz there are some assholes who like to scalp, like selling TV on the Radio tickets that were originally $35 for $80). And not only did I get last minute tickets for me and a friend, but this guy Lucas emailed me a couple of hours before the show and said "I know you're looking for tix....but I'm hoping you found extras and can help me out..... I'm a big fan and really want to go to this show, so call me if you have extras" turns out the woman I bought my tickets off of had 3 extras and this guy Lucas could go too. We all danced together.
Then, of course there's always the rants and raves section, and the casual encounters. Both of which are good reading. Seriously, I can't speak more highly of craigslist. The people I've encountered all seem super nice and just wanting to get rid of stuff at a more than fair price. A hundred times better than Ebay and with garage sale season still a ways off craigslist is the best place to find a kitchen table, a record player, a rant, or a one night stand. Okay, maybe it's not the best place to find a one night stand.

My best Craigslist score would have to be my current apartment. It's one of a kind and I love it.
For those on the rental hunt, this Google Maps/Craigslist mashup is pretty helpful (although some listings slip through the cracks): http://www.housingmaps.com/
