We at Beyond Robson salute the bicycle. We at Beyond Robson like transportation that makes our city less noisy and less polluted. We at Beyond Robson believe that exercise is good, even for us. We at Beyond Robson don't believe that Wreck Beach and the janitor's closet should be the only places to get naked around here. So at 1pm on Saturday, rain or shine, Vancouver's World Naked Bike Ride is departing from Sunset Beach (near the Aquatic Centre) to cruise where it may around the fair (and soon to be fairer) streets of Vancouver.

I can hear it now: "I wouldn't be caught dead riding a bike naked!" Well, chill out, dude. WNBR is officially NOT a naked bike ride, but is a CLOTHING OPTIONAL bike ride. So just throw on your pasties and hit the road. Dig out your speedos! Even if you want to wear a parka and wig to stay warm while you spy on your naked cycling girlfriend, it's all good! Really, the more the merrier, everyone. You can use the drizzle as an excuse to wear a full-bodied swimsuit. Last year I wore a fedora and a tie, and nobody complained: not one.

Also, I should mention that we're over a week into June, which is Bike Month
in this city. There's tons of stuff happening which is worth checking out, so do check out the link.
